I started my career with a degree in Graphic Design and worked in several design fields throughout the years. In my spare time I dabbled in various media, and got serious with watercolor. Gardening is also a passion, so I studied botanical painting. I enjoyed exploring the detailed intricacies of mother nature.
Then I discovered clay! There is a meditative quality to taking a lump of “mud” and creating anything from the formal to the frivolous. There are endless possibilities for technique, form, texture and finishes. There's always something more to learn when playing with clay, and I intend to keep playing!
